Charity Run

The aim is to actively involve a range of charities in the TCS Amsterdam Marathon. Charities can register teams in this category. To enjoy additional promotional benefits, charities must register a minimum of five teams. A Charity Team must consist out of ten people. 

Register

Only charities designated as a Public Benefit Organisation (Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling (ANBI)) by the Dutch tax authorities can participate in the TCS Amsterdam Marathon Charity Run. Companies that want to raise money for charity cannot enter teams as part of the Charity Run. However, companies are free to register with a participating charity and can run a TCS Amsterdam Marathon event on behalf of that charity.

Charity package TCS Marathon
For the team
  • Bib numbers (including chip) for up to ten people including pins to fasten the bib number (per team);
  • Starting area corresponding with expected finish time;
  • An Official Mizuno Raceshirt from the TCS Amsterdam Marathon for each team member;
  • Participation Business Ranking, in which the net times of the first five runners of the team apply;
  • Award ceremony Business Run on the business square; 
  • A medal for every team member;
  • A group photo of the team before the start, which can be downloaded afterwards via the website. 

For the company
  • Two Official Mizuno Raceshirts from the TCS Amsterdam Marathon per registred company;
  • Bib numbers sent by post to contact person;
  • A special keepsake for every company;
  • Possibility to rent a private VIP area on the Business Square at the Amsterdam Proeflokaal (info@hetamsterdamseproeflokaal.nl);
  • Also at the Frans Otten Stadium, near the Olympic Stadium, it is possible to rent a special reception room (info: +31 20-6628767).

Business Square
  • Special Business Square on the Stadionplein in front of the Olympic Stadium, only accessible to Business participants;
  • On the Business Square, paid catering facilities are also available.

Extra

Charities receive two official Mizuno Race shirts per entry. Additional Mizuno Race shirts can be pre-ordered at a cost of €25.00 each (including VAT.)

Promotional benefits for five teams or more

Charities that enter at least five teams enjoy the following benefits:

  • Information on www.tcsamsterdammarathon.org where participants are encouraged to run for charity;
  • Promotion in newsletters;
  • Promotion in press releases;
  • Promotion in the event app.

Charities can of course enter fewer than five teams.
